Sparkle and Shine

Well Hi To You All

Wow - where did that cold snap come from??  You can really feel Autumn here now although I'm not complaining, Autumn is my favourite time of year especially the colours and a morning frost too.

Well I can't believe it's 1 November already, this year has just flown by and here I am AGAIN with tons of Christmas cards still to make and rapidly running out of time!

So, if it's the first of the month then it's challenge time over at A Little Bit Crafty and our theme for you this month is "Sparkle and Shine".  We have three sponsors for this month's challenge and check out what's up for grabs:

(Two Digital Stamps)

(Prize to Follow)

(£20 Voucher)

Not bad eh!  So what are you waiting for?  Get your entries in over at A Little Bit Crafty and you're in with a chance to win.

Here is the card I have made:

Whoop Whoop - another Christmas card off the list!

Now you are probably thinking where is the Sparkle and Shine??  Well let me tell ya, the image is just full of glitter and so is that snow flurries border, I swear I just can't get my pictures to show it off well to ya so sorry, but it's there promise.

Now the shine - look closely, very closely at the snowman's buttons ..... do you see that I've used some Glossy Accents to make em shiny?  No - never mind I know they are there and must invest in a better camera!

The recipe for the card is:

Digi Stamp:  Pink Gem Designs - Andy With Snowman
Digi Kit:  Nitwit - Winter Wishes (make sure you check this out - only $3.49 for the WHOLE KIT!)
Snowflake Die:  Tim Holtz - Snow Flurries

I have coloured the image with Copics:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Clothes:  B95 B93 B91 / E44 E43 E42
Boots:  T6 T5 T4 T3
Snowman:  C1 C0 C00
Snowman Hat and Scarf:  E44 E43 E42
Buttons and Arms:  T6 T5 T4 T3
Nose:  YR18 YR16 YR12

I have outlined the image with T2 using my Copic Airbrush
The papers have been edged with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink

Phew - and that's it.

Have a great weekend everyone whatever you are doing and thank you for dropping by.
