PAPERTAKE WEEKLY - BINGO

Hi To You All

This is my very first card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge, I was thrilled when I was asked to join their super talented DT team - thank you so much for having me.

So, what's this week's challenge ..... it's 'BINGO' and our very generous sponsor this week is Whiff of Joy.

Now for those of you who don't know about BINGO, it's quite simple really, you just choose a line ie; horiztontal, vertical, diagonal or all four corners and your creation has to have all those elements in it.  For example the top line going across would be "Glitter - Punches - Lace", so we want to see whatever you make with these items on it so don't forget to mention it on your blog.

So what are you waiting for?  Get you entries in over at Papertake Weekly and you could be in with a chance to win.  Don't forget to check out what the wonderful DT girlies have made to whet your appetite.

Here is the card I made going with the bottom horizontal line - "Blooms - Ribbons - Gems":

The recipe for the card is:

Digi Stamp:  Saturated Canary - Blanche - by Krista Smith
Digi Papers:  Scrapmatters - Winterberry - by Jennifer Labre Designs
Leaf Die:  Memory Box - Lavish Branch
Corner Die:  Joy Crafts - Cutting and Embossing - Fleur de Lys 2
Charm:  The Hobby House
Rhinestones:  The Hobby House
Ribbon and Flowers:  From My Stash

The image has been coloured with Copics:

Skin:  E11 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Hair:  E55 E53 E51 E50
Dress:  BV08 BV04 BV02 / T7 T6 T5 T4 T3

I have outlined the image and papers with Dusty Concord Distress Ink

I have one more picture to show you of the inside of the card:

And there you have it.

I do hope you will be able to come and join in the fun with us over at Papertake Weekly.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week.

Here is the card I have created:

I was asked to make a card for my friend's brother who was turning 18 and he wants to be a pop star so this card tied in with the challenge just perfectly.

The recipe for the card is:

Stamp:  Mo Manning "Air Guitar"
Digi Papers:  Scrap Matters "U Rock"

Image Coloured with Copics:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000 R20 R30
Hair:  E55 E31 E30

Vest:  W2 W1 W0 W00
Boots:  R29 R27 R24 E41 E41 E40

I have edged everything using Black Soot Distress Ink.

For the sentiment all I did was print it out and draw the explosion shape around it and then cut it out - it's easy 'cos its all straight lines! LOL

That's it from me for now as I am going to be in my craft room all weekend as I have stacks and stacks of work to get through.

Have a great weekend whatever you are doing.

On to my card for the challenge:

My Nephew is serving in the Royal Air Force (hence the blue uniform) and is currently away on duties and is missing his new little baby girl so much I thought it fitting that I create a card which reminds us of all our men and women who leave their families to go and serve our country, not forgetting those that fought in WWI and WWII.

The recipe for my card is:

Stamp:  "Like Father Like Son" from Just Inklined
Digi Papers:  "Aviator" from Scrap Matters
Stamp:  Whimsy "Everyday Mini Postage Stamp Sentiments"

Image coloured with Copics:

Skin:  E11 E00 E000
Hair:  E37 E35 E34
Dad's Uniform:  B99 B97 B95 B93 N7 N5
Ruck Sack:  W7 W6 W5 W4 W3
Son - Trousers:  E35 E33 E34
Son - Top:  B95 B93 B91
Flag:  R39 R37 R35

I have edged everything in Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink

So that's it from me, I hope to be back later in the day with some Halloween cards that I have made, but until then I hope you have a fabulous weekend, whatever you may be doing and hope that you can come and join in the fun with us at Totally Gorjuss.

Take care and Ciao for now.

Totally Gorjuss Challenge 97 - Manly

Hi Everyone

This is a scheduled post as I will be on my way to Harrogate for the GNPE (woo hoo) so I hope that it works - if not you won't be reading this post and I'll be a little embarrassed ;o).

So without further ado onto this weeks Totally Gorjuss challenge which is manly:

This week we have been sponsored by Crafter's Companion so make sure you go and check out what the fabulous Gorjussetts' have created - totally fab and some great inspiration.

Here is the card I have created:

The recipe for my card is:

Stamp:  Mo Manning "The Engineer"
Papers:  Scrap Matters "Aviator"
Buttons:  From My Stash

The image has been coloured with Copics as follows:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000
Everything Else:  E49 E47 E44 E43 E42 E41 E40

I have also used a Cuttlebug "Spots & Dots" embossing folder and sanded the top and everything has been edged with Walnut Stain Distress Inks.

The Aviator papers are not this sepia colour - to achieve this I have opened the papers in Photoshop and then changed the colour to sepia tones - cool huh!

That's it from me today - I'm probably sweating at the amount of money I have spent at Harrogate.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

See ya.
