MANLY!

Hi Everyone

How are you all?  I hope you have all had a good week.

This is my first week back after the Christmas break - sheesh, doesn't feel like we've had a holiday :-O

It's Saturday already which means it's challenge time over at Totally Gorjuss and our theme for this week is "Manly".

Our generous sponsor for the challenge is Crafter's Companion, so if you want to be in with a chance to win a voucher to spend in their on line store then make sure you get your entries in over at Totally Gorjuss.

Here is the card I have made:

And here's another shot of the front so you can see the sentiment stamp a bit better:

ANOTHER CAS card I hear you all cry!  Well, as some of you may remember, I had an operation on my hand a few weeks ago and I've found that making CAS cards and not spending lots of time colouring is actually helping my hand heal quicker so you will just have to bear with me for a few more weeks until my hand is hopefully back to normal ;;)

The recipe for the card is as follows:

Diamond-Shape Die:  Clearly Besotted - Geometric Style
Sentiment Stamp:  Clearly Besotted - It's Your Birthday

The papers are just some tiny scraps that I had left over which were just perfect for the job and that is it as they say.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a great weekend.

Here is the card I have made:

I've used a pre-coloured die cut topper from The Hobby House as they are just perfect for putting together a quick card and in my opinion the quality is second to none.

DOTTY

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all well.

I hope you are seeing this post as I am away working this weekend :(

This is just the start of a lot of weekend working for me right up until the end of October but at least it keeps my out of mischief, but means less time spent in the craft room :((

It's challenge time again over at Totally Gorjuss and this week's theme is "Dotty".  We have two prizes up from grabs this week from The Ribbon Girl and Heather's Hobbie Haven, so if you want to be in with a chance to win a voucher to spend in these stores, then make sure you get your entries in over at Totally Gorjuss.

Here is a proper close-up of the image - can you tell I've been playing around with the black and white image above ;)

STRIPES

Hello Everyone

Brrrrr, Autumn has definitely arrived here with us this week - the heating is on!

Sorry I was MIA last week but since last Thursday I have had the most horrible few days :(

I had to put my Sister's beautiful cat "Paddy" to sleep last Thursday, and she doesn't know yet as she is on holiday and not back until this weekend!  For those of you who know me, you will know how much I just adore cats, especially my Winston :o) and I was the one who chose Paddy for my Sister from our local RSPCA nearly 14 years ago - I am just heart-broken :((

Then my best friend sent me a text on Wednesday morning to say that her Brother had passed away - he was only 54 and was diagnosed with brain cancer just 8 weeks ago.

Finally, one of my dealers passed away on Thursday at the ripe old age of 48!!!! What!  He was diagnosed with stomach cancer just three weeks ago and now he's not here!  He leaves behind a wonderful family with three children, 2 girls aged 21 and 11 and the most gorgeous little boy aged just 2!  I just can't believe it - I am just shocked and I am angry - I just don't understand why

I'm surprised that I have managed to make a card this week, but I tucked myself away in my craft room to take my mind off everything and have put one together.

So, it's challenge time over at Totally Gorjuss and our theme for this challenge is "Stripes" - yup, we want to see stripes on your creations and you could be in with a chance to win a voucher to spend in our Sponsor's store, who this week is Crafter's Companion.

MANLY!

DOTTY

Enough pictures I hear you cry so here is the full card:
