Totally Gorjuss - Challenge 104 - I Remember .....

Hey Everyone

It's Saturday and time for another fantastic challenge at Totally Gorjuss

This week's challenge is "I Remember ....." and can be anything from your childhood memories to Remembrance Day.  Go and see what the DT girlies have created, there is a real mixture for you to have a good old nosey at.

Our sponsor this week is Fantastic Ribbons and oh my what a fantastic store it is too, all those lovely ribbons!

On to my card for the challenge:

My Nephew is serving in the Royal Air Force (hence the blue uniform) and is currently away on duties and is missing his new little baby girl so much I thought it fitting that I create a card which reminds us of all our men and women who leave their families to go and serve our country, not forgetting those that fought in WWI and WWII.

The recipe for my card is:

Stamp:  "Like Father Like Son" from Just Inklined
Digi Papers:  "Aviator" from Scrap Matters
Stamp:  Whimsy "Everyday Mini Postage Stamp Sentiments"

Image coloured with Copics:

Skin:  E11 E00 E000
Hair:  E37 E35 E34
Dad's Uniform:  B99 B97 B95 B93 N7 N5
Ruck Sack:  W7 W6 W5 W4 W3
Son - Trousers:  E35 E33 E34
Son - Top:  B95 B93 B91
Flag:  R39 R37 R35
Shading:  W5 W3 W1
Outline:  W1 W0 Blender Pen

I have edged everything in Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink

As normal I have copied the layout from the front of the card onto the inside:

So that's it from me, I hope to be back later in the day with some Halloween cards that I have made, but until then I hope you have a fabulous weekend, whatever you may be doing and hope that you can come and join in the fun with us at Totally Gorjuss.

Take care and Ciao for now.

Great card Hazel, super image. We too have a nephew serving in the RAF, so a very fitting card at this time of the year.
