TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS COLOURS

Hi Everyone

Happy Saturday - I hope you all have had a good week.

Crikey it's nearly October already - where has this year gone too :-O

Well seeing as it's Saturday it means that it's challenge time over at Totally Gorjuss and our theme this week is "Traditional Christmas Colours".  This gave me the opportunity to make another Christmas card although I still have around 40 + to do :((

We have two sponsors for this week's challenge who are Bunny Zoes and Whoopsi Daisy.  So if you want to be in with a chance to win then get your entries in over at Totally Gorjuss.

Here is the card I have made:

I've used lots of green and gold for a change which is definitely new for me on Christmas cards as I am normally a red kind of girl ;)

The recipe for the card is:

Papers:  Maja - It's Christmas Time (stunning paper pad)
Stamp:  Bildmalarna - Mimosa - Falling Snow
Roses:  Die-namics - Mini Royal Roses
Daisy:  Die-namics - Rolled Daisy
Leaves:  Die-namics - Royal Leaves
Sentiment:  Whimsy - Mini Holiday Postage Stamps
Sentiment Die:  Whimsy - Mini Postage Die
Green Ribbon:  The Hobby House - Sage and Moss Green
Rhinestone Sparkler:  The Hobby House - Jewel Aurora

I have coloured the image with a mixutre of Copics and Twin Touch (TT) markers:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Hair:  TT BR101 BR104 Copic Y26 / BR134
Clothes:  R39 R37 R27 R24 R22 / E43 E42 E41 E40 / C1 C0
Boots:  R39 R37 R24 R24 R22 / C1 C0
Holly:  TG67 TG63 YG61 / R39 R24 R22
Shading:  W5 W3 W1 W0 W00

I have outlined the image using my Copic Airbrush and BG93
The papers and everything else have been edged with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink

And that's it.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Ta ta for now.

This is gorgeous Hazel! Love the colours and the effect you get with your air brush. I have just been looking at them now after seeing the gorgeous effect you get with them. Is it just the bog standard one you have at about £30, if so is it easy?? Hugs Susan x

I rarely use greens, other than for Christmas cards, and together with your purple colored DPs I just realized that green and purple is a beautiful color combination! I must try that one out. Your card is beautiful.
PS: love the header of your blog, so perfect for the season!
