Hello Everyone

I hope you are getting to see this post as I am away working (YUK!) at the moment at the NEC in Birmingham so hopefully Mr Blogger is behaving himself!

So it's Saturday again and that can only mean one thing - it's challenge time over at Totally Gorjuss and this week's challenge is "Traditional Christmas Colours" which is sponsored by Crafter's Companion - easy huh?  As always, make sure you pop on over to the Totally Gorjuss site to see what the creative DT ladies have made to whet your appetite.

Here is the card I have made:

Aren't these Bildmalarna stamps just gorgeous - the Little Winged Friends Christmas stamps are just so beautiful and I love them all.  If you get chance pop on over to the Bildmalarna Blog as there are some absolutely stunning creations for you to feast your eyes on and if you like it don't forget to become a Follower!

The recipe for the card is:

Stamp:  Bildmalarna - Little Winged Friends - Christmas Letters
Papers:  Bildmalarna - Frosty Christmas
Poinsettias:  Magnolia - Doohickey - Poinsettia
Holly:  Cheery Lynn - Holly Flourish
Sentiment:  Lili of the Valley - Christmas Handwritten Phrases
Tag:  Lili of the Valley - Christmas Mini Icon Tags
Brads, Ribbon, Button and Rhinestones:  The Hobby House

The image has been coloured with Copics, Promarkers and Flexmarkers with a touch of French Grey 50% and Warm Grey 50% Prismacolour pencils for shading as follows:

Skin:  E11 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Hair:  E37 E35 E34 E13
Dress, Scarf and Socks:  E39 E29 E27 E24 / Satin (Promarker), Antique White (Flexmarker), E000
Postal Sack and Letters:  E44 E43 E42 E41 E40
Birdies:  E37 E35 E34 E31 / E41 E40

I have outlined the image with Iced Spruce Distress Ink
All the papers have been edged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink

I hope you will be able to come and join in with the challenge.
