Totally Gorjuss - Challenge 152 - Anything Goes

Happy Saturday to You All!

I hope Mr Blogger is behaving himself as this is a scheduled post as I will be at the GNPE Show in Harrogate treating myself to lots and lots of new stash!

Saturday can only mean one thing - yup - its challenge time over at Totally Gorjuss and this week's theme is "Anything Goes" - easy peasy lemon squeezey!

Our kind and generous sponsor this week is the one and only Joanna Sheen so if you want to win a voucher to spend in her store (remember P&P is FREE), then get yourself over to the Totally Gorjuss site and get your entry in.  Whilst you are there have a look at the awesome creations the lovely DT ladies have made for you.

Here is my card:

I was asked to make an anniversary card for some 'older' but trendy parents and I thought this image from Mo Manning was just perfect.

The recipe for the card is as follows:

Digi Stamp:  Mo Manning - Date
Papers:  My Minds Eye - Six by Six - A Beautiful Life from Dies to Die For
Corner Die:  Die-Namics - Photo Corners from Dies to Die For
Foliage Die:  Magnolia Doo Hickey - Heart Swirl from Dies to Die For
Flower Punches:  Nellie Snellen Rose Flower (I am SOOOOO loving these babies - awesome!)
Sentiment:  Papertrey Ink - Fillable Frames
Pearls:  The Hobby House

The image has been coloured with Copics:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (Cheeks)
Ladies Hair:  E34 E33 E51 E50
Gents Hair:  W5 W3 W1
Ladies Dress:  R59 R39 R56
Ladies Cardigan:  YG97 YG95 YG93
Ladies Shoes, Bag and Belt:  E17 E15 E13
Gents Jumper:  E17 E15 E13
Gents Trousers:  B95 B93 B91

The image has been outlined with Antique Linen Distress Ink
All the card and paper have been edged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink

And there you have it.

I hope you all have a great weekend and thank you for your lovely comments.

Ta-ra for now

Hi Hazel - this card is so lovely - I adore the image and love the way you have coloured it in. Would I be right in thinking that you coloured the image to go with the paper? I always intend to do this then I start colouring before I find the papers - I think I have just found out why it always takes me so long to decide which papers to use - duh!!!!! Seriously though this paper is really amazing MME is my favourite but I don't have this pad - yet.

Hugs to you Sue Pxxx
