PAPERTAKE WEEKLY - WEATHER WITH YOU

Hello Everyone

And a great big "HIYA!" to my new followers - thank you for choosing to follow my work, I am so flattered.

It's Tuesday and it's time for this week's challenge at Papertake Weekly and our challenge this week is "Weather With You".  So we want to see all your lovely creations that has anything to do with the weather, sun, rain a nice day - you get the gist?

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is J & C Creations, so if you want to be in with a chance to win a voucher to spend in their on-line store that get your entries in over at Papertake Weekly and as always do check out what the wonderful ladies have made to whet your appetite.

Here is my card for the challenge:

Now I'm a great believer in publishing all my work good or bad, and for some reason I just feel that this is not one of my best :o(   I think it's because I really really struggled to find a nice green but I just adore this Mo image.

Anyways, enough of my ramble.  The recipe for the card is:

Digi Stamp:  Mo Manning - Baby Shower
Papers:  Simple Stories - Baby Steps (I got this from The Hobby House but it's not on their website yet, so if you want it, give them a call)
Charm:  Teddies - The Hobby House
Seam Binding:  Moss Green - The Ribbon Girl

The image has been coloured with Copics and Promarkers with a bit of 70% Cool Grey Prismacolour Pencil for some shading:

Skin:  E11 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Hair:  E37 E35 E34 E31
Umbrella:  Apple (Promarker) Meadow (Promarker) YG11
Nappy:  C1 C0
Dummy:  Boo B0000 / E31
Shading:  W5 W3 W1 W0

I have outlined the image using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
The papers and card have been edged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink

And there you have it.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I do hope you will come and join in the fun with us over at Papertake Weekly.

Have a fabulous week.

Looks alright to me ;-) I know what you mean though, sometimes what you create just doesn't "fire" with you - sometimes you just need to look at it afresh to appreciate it. I love the image; he IS a cutie, and your papers and embellies tick all the boxes too, TFS, Donna xx
