Hello Everyone
Saturday again - can you believe it! Time is just flying by before you know it Christmas will be here and I am soooooo behind with my Christmas cards - again I might add!
This week's challenge over at
Totally Gorjuss is Lacy Lacy - so we want to see all your creations with lace on them. Our generous sponsor this week is
Crafter's Companion and remember to check out what the fabulous DT ladies over at
Totally Gorjuss have made to whet your appetite.
Here is the card I have made:
I have so so so many Lili of the Valley stamps (un-inked too!), that I just had to use one of them and there will certainly be more to follow that is for sure.
The recipe for the card is as follows:
The image has been coloured with Copics and a Black Polychromos pencil for shading
Skin: E21 E00 E000 / R20 R30
Hair: E34 E53 E51 E50
Dress: R85 R83 R81
Present: BG32 BG11 BG10
Flowers: R85 R81 / BG32 BG10 / Y35 Y32 / YR18
Shoes: E37 E35 E34
Grass: G46 G43
I have outlined the image with Weathered Wood Distress Ink
All the paper and card has been edged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink
What do you think to the flowers? I made them using an EK Success Medium Retro Flower Punch and then stick them together. Whilst it is a little time consuming I like the fact that you can get the flowers to match the colour of your card exactly as I get frustrated when the colour shade is just a tad off (OCD I know).
A final picture of the inside as usual:
And there you have it.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Thank you for all your lovely comments, I know I've been MIA for a while, but I will be round to visit you all soon.

The kraft card tones down these beautifully bright papers. I will have to try this as I have lots of vibrant patterned papers that I am struggling to use up a bit.
Cute cute cute and love the layout you've used.
