HOT!

Well Hello Everyone!

How are you all?  Have you missed me? ;o)

I've had a busy old month; first of all my Brother-in-Law passed away at only 57 :o( and then I have just gotten myself married!  You will see my new name on my watermarks.

Hopefully everything is now getting back to normal, so I should be able to start crafting again - I've missed it so much.

So to get things back to normal - it's Saturday which means it's challenge time over at Totally Gorjuss and our theme is "Hot Colours" which is perfect given the weather we have had over the last week or so.

Our sponsor this week is Crafters' Companion so if you want to bag yourself a voucher to use in their on line store then what are you waiting for? Get your entries in over at Totally Gorjuss and you're in with a chance to win and as always, make sure you check out what the wonderfully talented DT ladies have made for you.

Here is my card:

Do you see the new name ;o)

The recipe for the card is:

Stamp:  Elisabeth Bell - Summer Time Peekers (these are on offer so grab them while you can!)
Papers:  My Minds Eye - Stella Rose - Mabel
Square Die:  Spellbinders - Decorative Elements - Lacey Squares
Large Cloud Die:  Doohickey - Cloud & Flag
Small Cloud Die:  Joy Crafts - Clouds
Large Flower Die:  Joy - Floral Flourishes - Flower 3
Centre Flower Die:  Doohickey - Clover with Flowers
Pearls:  The Hobby House

The image has been coloured with Copics:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Hair:  E29 E27 E23 E21
Swimsuit:  YR18 YR16 YR12 / BG15 BG13 BG11
Bucket:  BG15 BG13 BG11 / YR18 YR16 YR12 / YR23
Starfish:  E55 E53 E51 E50
Sand:  E55 E53 E51 E50

I have outlined the image with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
The papers have been edged with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink

And that's it.

It's good to be back and thank you for dropping by.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Love your card, so sunny and gorgeous. Really sweet stamp too.
Sorry though to hear about your brother-in-law. My daddy was only 56 when he died, which was a real shock, so I know what it is to loose someone you love well before their time.
