BOWS

Hi Everyone

How are we all?  Good I hope.

Haven't we had great weather this week - although I think its going to be rainy over the weekend - typical as its Bank Holiday too ;o(

It's challenge time over at Totally Gorjuss and this week our them for the challenge is "Bows" so we want to see all your creations with bows in mind.

Who better to sponsor us for this challenge then the one and only Ribbon Girl so if you want to be in with a chance to win a voucher to spend in the Ribbon Girl store - and trust me you will spend it quickly as there is just so much gorgeous stuff in there - then get your entries in over at Totally Gorjuss.  Remember as always to check out what my wonderful teamies have made for your inspiration.

Here is the the card I have made:

I got me a Copic Air Compressor as I thought it would be great to use as I generally use an Ink Duster and Distress Ink to go around my image.  This is the first time I have used it and I think I definitely need a bit more practise that is for sure ;o) but I was pretty pleased how it turned out.

The recipe for the card is:

Stamp:  Whimsy - Little Jack Drumming - by Elisabeth Bell
Papers:  Kaisercraft - Twig and Berry
Square Die:  Cheery Lynn - Stacking Nesting Dies - Square Classic - XL1
Square Scalloped Die:  Cheery Lynn - Stacking Nesting Dies - Square Scalloped - XL2
Sentiment Stamp:  Whimsy - Winter Postage Stamps
Sentiment Die:  Whimsy - Postage Stamp
Roses Die:  Die-namics - Mini Royal Roses
Flourish Die:  Doo Hickey - Leaf and Swirl
Rhinestone Sparkler:  The Hobby House

The image has been coloured with both Copics and Twin Touch Markers which are new to me and the lady in question has a lot to answer for that is for sure - you know who you are!  TT stands for Twin Touch:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000 / R20 (cheeks)
Hat:  TT BR100 BR101 BR104 / R39 R27 R24 R22 / TT GY235 GY237 GY175
Shirt:  TT - GY235 GY237 GY175
Tank Top:  R399 R29 R27 R24 R22
Trousers:  E29 E27 E25 E23
Holly:  G28 UG67 YG63 / R29 R22 (berries)
Scarf:  R39 R27 R24 R22 / TT GY235 GY237 GY175
Drum:  R39 R27 R24 R22 / TT GY235 GY237 GY175 / C2 C1 C0
Shoes:  T10 T6 T5 T4 T3 T2
Cat:  N6 N5 N4 N3 N2 / YR24 YR23 YR21
Shading:  W5 W3 W1 W0

I have outlined the image using B01 (Copic) with my new Copic Compressor ;o)
The papers have been edged with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink

And that's it.

I hope you all have a good weekend.

Take care

Toodle Pip
