The challenge this week at Totally Gorjuss is "For Someone Special" and our sponsor is Simon Says Stamp. Pop on over to the Totally Gorjuss site and see all the awesome creations the DT girls have made to get your creative minds going.
I have made a card for not just some-one special but for "some-two" special girls (twin nieces) who have just turned 12 and they are little-budding crafters who like nothing more than to spend the day in my craft room creating. They are so good as well - I will have to post some of the fabulous cards they have made.
Enough waffle then - here is my card:
The recipe for my card is as follows:
Digi Stamp: Mo Manning "Psst Dani & Taylor"
Papers: My Minds Eye "Gertie"
Charms: The Hobby House
I have coloured the image with Copics, Flexmarkers and Promarkers
(a girl can't have too many pens now can she! - heh heh heh)
Skin: E11 E00 E000 R20 R30
Hair: Buttercup, Champagne, Cappuccino
Girl 1 - Top & Skirt: E37 E35 E34 E49 E59 E57 Crimson, Ruby
Girls 1 - Boots: E34 E33 E31 E30
Girl 2 - Top, Skirt & Boots: N8 N6 N4, Burgundy, Crimson, Ruby, C9 C8 C6 C5 C0 C00

Shading & Outline: W5 W3 W1 W0 Blender Pen
Everything has been edged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink
I stained the cream seam binding with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a little water - love doing this as you can get such a good match.
I have made the flowers from punching out quite a few with the large and medium EK Success Retro Flower punch then putting a brad through them before scrunching the petals up to make them look a little bit like a flower. Here is a close up for you - you can just see one of the pearl brads poking through on the lowest small flower:
So that's it from me for today; I have got stacks to do this weekend - a few presents left to buy and loads and loads of presents still to wrap.
I hope you all have a great weekend and thanks for taking the time to have a look.
Cheerio!
