Totally Gorjuss - Challenge 149 - Rawr!

Hey Everyone

First of all my apologies for not being round to see you all on your blogs for the last two weeks :o(

I have been having problems with my telephone line and internet, but to cut a long story short, two weeks later I am back in business, (fingers, arms, toes and legs crossed); so my mission this weekend is to see what you have all been up too - can't wait.  Thank you all for your lovely comments.

This week's challenge over at Totally Gorjuss is 'Rawr!' and our sponsor is Heather's Hobbie Haven.  So to be in with a chance to win a voucher to spend in their store, we want to see all your fantastic creations around the 'Rawr!' theme.

As always, make sure you check out what the wonderful DT Girlies over at Totally Gorjuss have created for you - they are just fabulous as always.

Here is my little creation:

I am so loving this little cutie!  I can just see him running around going "RAWR!" - love it!

The recipe for the card is:

Papers:  Echo Park "Boys" Collection Pack from Dies to Die For (these are just awesome!)
Digi Stamp:  Tiddly Inks - Little So and So
Buttons:  The Hobby House

The image has been coloured with Copics:

Skin:  E11 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (Cheeks)
Dinosaur Suit:  YG25 YG03 YG01 / B99 B97 B95 / E42 E41 E40

I have outlined the image with Weathered Wood Distress Ink
All the paper and card has been edged with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink

I used the Copic Colourless Blender to create a scale-like effect on his dinosaur suit by just lightly pressing the nib onto the image once it was coloured

And finally, I used a black fine-liner pen to create a border around the edges of the image and papers.

And that's it from me.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.  Thank you for all your lovely comments.

Take care

Toodles

Hi Hazel, So it seems we have both been having internet problems, and isn't it frustrating! Our landline was affected too, so it was not too bad as I knew what the problem was. Love your card! and thanks for stopping by my Bog today with such a lovely, much appreciated, comment. Have a lovely weekend. Judy x

Welcome back Hazel, blogland has missed you! I've been having internet problems too, but the phone company basically said that because I live in the middle of nowhere, there's nothing they can do to improve my net, so I just have to grin and bear the frequent cutting out! Grrrr.

This card is so cute! Just adorable! Perfect boy card, I love the colours and the buttons :D
