PAPERTAKE WEEKLY - PICK OF THE YEAR

Hi Everyone

Wowzers - Christmas Eve already - now ain't that just snook up on us so fast!

It's the final challenge of the year over at Papertake Weekly - yup you all get a whole week off next week - and the theme for our challenge is "Pick of the Year" which means you can choose any of the challenges that we have had over the last 12 months (2013), but please make sure you let us know which one you have picked when we come and see you on your blog.

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is Simon Says Stamp, so if you want to be in with a chance to win a voucher to spend on their on-line store then get your entries in over at Papertake Weekly and don't forget to check out all the wonderful creations the very talented DT girls have made to whet you appetite.

Here is the card I have made:

For this challenge I chose Sketch Number:  33:

Remember you can use any of our sketches in the challenge, you just need to let us know which one.

The recipe for the card is:

Stamp:  Lili of the Valley - Ride With Me
Digi Papers:  Nitwit - Bear Necessities
Heart Tag Die:  Doohickey - So Wrapped Lovely
Heart Border Die:  Cheery Lynn - Mesh Hearts Border
Heart Charm:  The Hobby House - Fancy Hearts
Lace:  The Hobby House - Natural Lace Collection

I have coloured the image with Copics and Twin Touch as follows:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Girl Hair:  E55 E53 E51 E50
Boy Hair:  E29 E25 E23
Girls Helmet:  R02 R01 R00 R000
Girl Clothes:  R02 R01 R00 R000 / E42 E41 E40
Boy Clothes:  B23 TT-PB76 B21 / TT - BR100 BR101 BR104 / E42 E41 E40
Moped:  E43 E42 E41 E40 / T7 T5 T4 T3 / B23 TT - PB76 B21 / C4 C3 C1 C00
Shading:  W5 W3 W1 W0 W00
Image Outline:  B01 Copic used with my Air Compressor

I have sanded all the papers and edged them with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink

And there you have it.

I sent my list off to "him" early and I have been a very, very good girl this year - so I will be keeping my fingers crossed on Christmas Day.

So all that is left for me to do is to .....

WISH YOU ALL A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A
HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!

Thank you all for your wonderful support and comments this year and I hope that Father Christmas brings you lots and lots of wonderful things crafty and to say "Thank You" properly I will pick a random comment on this post who will receive a "SPECIAL CANDY TREAT".

Take care everyone - have a wonderful time.
