HELLO BOYS

Hello Everyone

Me again!

Thank you again for all your best wishes - I really am touched.

It's challenge time over at Papertake Weekly and this week's theme is "Hello Boys" seeing as it's Father's Day on Sunday so we want to see all your lovely creations for a man or boy.

We have two very generous sponsors for the challenge which are Whiff of Joy and J & C Creations.  So if you want to be in with a chance to win get your entries in over at Papertake Weekly and as always make sure you check out what the very talented DT ladies have made to whet your appetite.

Here is the card that I have made:

This is one of my all time favourite images from the Lili of the Valley girls and I just love it.

The recipe for the card is:

Stamp:  Lili of the Valley - Big Present
Digital Papers:  The Shabby Shoppe - Parker Collection
Star Die:  Die-namics - Stacking Stars

I have used Copics to colour the image as follows:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Hair:  E47 E44 E43 E41
Top:  C2 C1 C0
Shorts:  B97 B95 B93 B91
Shoes:  N5 N4 N3 N2 / B97 B95 (laces) / C1 C0
Present:  E43 E42 E41 E40 / B95 B93 B91 (string) / C1 C0 (tag)
Shading:  W5 W3 W1 W0

I have outlined the image with Weathered Wood Distress Ink
The papers have been edged with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink

And that's it.

I hope you will come and join in the fun with us over at Papertake Weekly.

Thank you so much for dropping by.

Have an amazing week.

Toodle Pip

Lovely card Hazel, Lili of the Valley stamps are some of my fav. I'm not overly good at 'male' cards as you can't really add any bling but your card has given me a few ideas x

It's the first time I see this sweet little boy image - I always take pleasure in discovering some new fabulous male ones! The monochromatic blue look is a great choice for a father's day card, and I like the papers and layout very much.
