TOTALLY GORJUSS - NEW!

Hey Everyone

Did you all have a nice Christmas and get everything you wished for?

I hope so - we went to my Sister's this year as it's the first Christmas they have had off for 10 years (they are both in the medical profession), so it was really nice and just to put the icing on the cake we managed to get a few minutes on Skype with my Nephew who is serving out in Afghanistan. Got to say it brought a lump to my throat when his little 18 month old daughter was telling him how much she missed him and was blowing him kisses and telling him she loved him - awww!

I'm going to be cleaning out my craft room this weekend - gulp - as I have so much stuff I either can't find anything or forgot where I put it - so wish me luck! ;o)

Well it's Saturday again - already - so that means it's challenge time over at Totally Gorjuss and this week the challenge is "New" and our generous sponsor is Lili of the Valley.

New can mean pretty much anything - a new house or a new baby or just anything new you have that you have used on your card.  So, to be in with a chance to win £10 to spend in the Lili of the Valley on line shop get your creations made and posted over at Totally Gorjuss and don't forget to check out what the lovely DT ladies have made to whet your appetite.

Here is the card I have made:

I just love these Saturated Canary designs and this digi stamp is NEW along with the Cheery Lynn Doily Die, the Prima Flowers and the Doohickey Die.

The recipe for the card is:

Digi Stamp:  Saturated Canary - Pack Light - by Krista Smith
Papers:  My Minds Eye Lost and Found 2 - Blush from Dies to Die For
Doily Die:  Cheery Lynn - Nautical Wheeler Doily from Dies to Die For
Flowers:  Prima Serenade and Encore (oh my how gorgeous these are!)
Die Cut Leaves:  Doohickey - Clover With Flowers
Sentiment Die:  Die-namics - Fishtail Flags Stax from Dies to Die For
Lace, Ribbon, Charm and Button:  From my Stash

The image has been coloured with Copics:

Skin:  E11 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Hair:  E27 E25 E23 E21
Top:  B00 BG000 BG0000
Trousers:  R85 R83 R81
Handbag:  B00 BG000 BG0000 / R85 R83 R81
Suitcases:  E31 E30 E0000 / E37 E35 E34
Camera:  C6 C4 C2 / E37 E34
Shading:  W5 W3 W1 W0

The image has been outlined with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
The papers have been edged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink
I added some Stardust Stickles to the Flowers for a bit of bling

One final 'arty' shot of the inside:

And that's it.  There's just one more thing to do ....

I WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY, PEACEFUL, HEALTHY
AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!

Thank you all for all your support and comments throughout 2012 - you are all just the best!

What a beautiful card... inside and out! Love the image, the papers, ooh, and those dies too ;-) I've got to clean out my craft room too - we're renovating and I have to literally empty the room, groan! We're re-flooring four rooms, which means emptying all four, but it's my craft room I dread :-) Hope you have a great New Year, Donna ☺
