Die-ing For a Challenge - Mimosa Hat

Hey Everyone

How are you all?  I hope you are all having a lovely week.

Today sees a new challenge over at Die-ing for a Challenge and I got to pick this months challenge so I decided to go with a sketch 'cos you all know how I love my sketches and of course it keeps it simple - right up my street!

Don't forget you can win yourself a whooping £25 voucher to spend in the fabulous Dies to Die For store - Tracy is just so generous.

Now there are a few rules to observe which are:

RULES:

* All entries must have at least one Dies to Die for product on
* You can combine our challenge with NO MORE THAN 3 OTHER CHALLENGES
* You must link back to the Dies to Die for Blog
NO back linking, new projects/cards only please
* Only 2 Entries per person please
* Entries which fail to observe the above will be removed and will not be eligible for the prize

So dig out your dies, Big Shots, Sizzix, Wizards, Grand Caliburs and starting crafting.

Here is the sketch we would like you to follow:

Don't forget you can flip it, turn it upside-down and move things around a little if you want to, so long as we can see the sketch in there then you are in with a chance to win.

Here is the card I made:

The recipe for the card is:

Stamp:  Bildmalarna Mimosa - Hat
Card:  Bazzill Kraft
Papers:  My Minds Eye - Miss Caroline - Dolled Up
Flowers:  Die-namics Flower & Leaf Trio
Sentiment:  Whimsy Friendship Ticket Sentiments
Ticket Die:  Whimsy Ticket Die
Ribbon:  From my stash

The image has been coloured with Copics:

Skin:  E11 (a change for me!) E00 E000 / R20 R30
Hair:  E27 E25 E23 E21
Hat:  E31 E30 E50 / BG13 BG11 BG10
Flowers:  R22 R21 R20 / R12 R11 R00
Top:  R22 R21 R20 / E30 E50
Trousers:  BG13 BG11 BG10
Boots:  E43 E42 E41 E40

I have used my current favourite masking / shading technique around the stamp with Antique Linen Distress Ink

All the card and paper has been edged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink

One final picture of the inside before I bore you all rigid:

And there you have it.

I do hope you will come on over to the Die-ing For a Challenge Blog and join in the fun with us.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Take care and toodle pip.
