Totally Gorjuss - Challenge 137 - Something Yellow

Hello All

Mmm, another week of wet weather - me no likey :o(

So to try and get some sunshine going the challenge over at Totally Gorjuss this week is "Something Yellow".  Well, the first thing that springs to mind for me is SUNSHINE (we neeeeeed some!), but it can be anything you want it to be so long as there is something yellow and our lovely sponsor this week is Meljen's.  As always, please make sure you pop onto the Totally Gorjuss blog to see what the lovely DT ladies have created for you to whet your appetite.

So, without further ado here is the card I made - brace yourself and don some sunglasses!

Wowzers - now that is yellow!  Told ya to put on your sunglasses!

The recipe for the card is:

Digi Stamp:  Meljen's Tutu Sweet
Papers:  My Minds Eye Miss Caroline "Howdy Doody" from Dies to Die For
Border Die:  Doohickey "Scalloped Stitch Lace" from Dies to Die For
Sentiment:  Whimsy "Magical Mini Letter Seals" from Dies to Die For
Punched Flowers:  Medium and Small Retro Flower Punches

Image has been coloured with Copics:

Skin:  E21 E00 E00 / R20 R30
Hair:  E37 E35 E34 E31
Tutu:  YR24 YR23 YR21 YR20 YR0000
Flowers:  YR02 YR01 YR00 YR000
Leaf:  G46 G43

I have edged everything with Wild Honey Distress Ink

One final picture of the inside as per my usual:

Sorry about the rubbish photo, but I think you get the idea.

And that's it.  Thank you all as always for your words of encouragement and kindness they are always cherished and appreciated.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Ta ra for now.

I really like the layering onto textured card stock. It makes such a difference.

I get the idea both inside and out, fabulous and a great layout, lovely papers and I have often thought that yellow is not used enough, no room to talk like, as it is not one I jump to use, but I must.
Hope you have not had as much rain today, we have the torch tomorrow so I expect it will lash it down again.
