My New Pen Storage

Hey Everyone

I hope you are all having a good week.

Before I continue with this post I just want to say a great big "THANK YOU" to all you lovely people out there who have become new followers - I am so totally flattered and there just aren't any words to express my feelings (me blushing!).  I promise I will get around to seeing and thanking each and every one of you individually.

I've been lucky enough to have a couple of days off this week - yep it's my fault the weather is rainy (lol) - and I decided that I wanted to make some form of pen storage system for my Copics, Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils and this is what I have created:

So what do you think?  I took my inspiration from the Copic Cubbies that you can no longer buy, but for those of you who don't want to make your own and are in search of some form of storage cube for your pens make sure you check out Vixx Handmade Cards where there is a link to some wonderful storage ideas for you.

Those with of you with beady eyes will see that I made the middle one a little smaller; this was my prototype and I decided that the cubbie holes just weren't big enough to hold a set of pens with the same colour shade, particularly the Promarkers and Flexmarkers, so I made some bigger ones instead!

I can't believe the amount of desk space I have recouped, it's massive as I used to have my pens stored in little plastic storage boxes on top of my desk.

Got to say I'm pretty chuffed with the results; its amazing what you can do with a bit of foam board and a hot glue gun!

Well that's it from me for now - may even get a card made tomorrow.

Thank you again for your amazing comments.

Now that was a surprise to get to the end of your post and discover your boxes are made of foam board! WOW! I think I could do this. Now if I only had a craft desk. I don't think my family will let me set it up on the kitchen table. LOL Hugs Hazel!

Hazel you are a wonder. Fancy being able to make that yourself. Wish I had a desk to work on,but my computer desk and then all the cupboards my stash is stored in take over my dining room and I work on a small table in the sitting room in front of the tv (not that I watch much but I do get to listen.)
And lovely to see someone who is more of a pen addict than me.
Well done
