Totally Gorjuss Challenge 106 - Christmas Traditions

Happy Saturday Everyone

I hope you are all well.

This weeks challenge at Totally Gorjuss is Christmas Traditions and our wonderful sponsor is Crafter's Companion.

I hope you can come and join in the fun with us and I can't wait to see all the lovely creations.  Make sure you check out what the Gorjussettes have come up with for you - amazing as always and don't forget to post a link back to your blog (so we can all come and have a nosey) to be in with a chance to win that fabby Crafter's Companion voucher.

As you can see I have gone with a carol singing theme for my Christmas tradition and here is the full card:

Aren't those little choir kids just adorable.  Now be prepared for the long list of Copic colours I have used for this card.  The recipe is as follows:

Digi Stamp:  Mo Manning "Choir"
Digi Papers:  Digital Scrapbook Pages "My Christmas Carol"
Flower:  Marianne Design "Fantasy Flower" from Quixotic Paperie

The image has been coloured with loads and loads of Copics as follows:

Skin "Caucasian":  E11 E00 E000 R20 R30
Skin "African American":  E37 E35 E34 E31 R22
Skin "Asian":  E51 E50 YR0000
Hair Colours:  E37 E35 E34 / E19 E17 E15 / E49 E59 E57 / E53 E51 E50 / T9 T8 T7 T6
Robes:  R29 R27 R24 / N9 N7 N5
Song Sheets:  E42 E41 E40
Star:  YR24 YR23 YR21
Shading and Outline:  W5 W3 W1 W0 Blender Pen

As per usual I have used a distress ink around all the papers and pictures which was Vintage Photo.

Phew - I told you there were a lot of colours for just a relatively straight forward picture.

As per usual I have followed the sketch through to the inside:

Apologies for the poor quality pictures it's just so dark on a night when I get home - YUK.  Can you believe there is only 6 weeks left until Christmas - :oO - I need to get my skates on for both Christmas shopping and for making my Christmas cards!

So that's all from me for today - I really, really, really, really need to get some Christmas cards made this weekend - so I hope you all have a fab Saturday and Sunday and I look forward to seeing what you have made.

Take care and ta-ra for now.

Really beautiful work Hazel. Where did you get the music sheet from? Is it a stamp? It compliments your card just beautifully. Will make note of the different shades you've used for the skin colours. Wow! hugs Sharon x
