SHOULD I .........
Hello Everyone in Blogland
Very, very, very "long time no speak" - I hope you are all well; whilst you may not have seen me posting on my blog for an awful long time, I am still around and do always check out all the lovely creations you have all been making from time to time.
I'm toying with re-opening my blog but I'm still unsure as to completely redesign it or just go with it and make a few tweaks - what do you think?
Hopefully be seeing you all soon.

The Hobby House Art Pads
Well Hello to You All - Remember Me
I think I'm finally making progress and getting back into the swing of things slowly but surely and have a card to share with you today
Ain't he just so sweet.
Here is a picture of the full card:
The colouring is still a bit rusty and I will have to try and practise more.
Now, let me tell you about these wonderful Art Books from The Hobby House; each book has a theme with 6 different Elisabeth Bell images of which you get 5 of each, so 30 pages in total. The card the image is printed on works wonderfully with any alcohol pens so you can colour it whatever colour you want and die cut the image out in whatever shape you want too.
I gotta tell ya these are great value for money at just £5.99 each - I love them.
So on to the recipe for my card:
Image: Summer Daze Art Book from The Hobby House
Digi Papers: Echo Park - All About a Boy
I have coloured the image with my Copics:
Skin: E21 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Hair: E27 E25 E23 E21
Clothes: B05 B04 B02
Boots: E43 E42 E41 E40
Horse: E33 E31 E30 / Y21 E53 E51 E50
Shading: W5 W3 W1 W0 W00
I have outlined the image with C3
The papers have been distressed to within an inch of their life and then edged with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink
And that's it.
Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek. I hope you all have a great weekend.

Well Hello Everyone - long time no see as they say
First of all the UPDATE ..... for those of you who don't know I had an operation on my hand which has stopped me crafting for what seems an absolute age - well it is really, but the good news is is that it seems to be healing well so hopefully I will be back crafting soon.
Can't wait to be honest, got some wonderful watercolour pencils for Christmas that I'm just dying to have a play with - I've just had to sit and look at them for a while.
So, secondly a THANK YOU to all you lovely people who have sent me messages to see how I am getting on and when I will be back - you are all fabulous and I really appreciate you taking the time out to send me some wishes.
So, finally, some CANDY .....
I haven't managed to put it together on a picture but as a thank you I will put up for grabs some lovely candy which will have lots of beautiful goodies in them like flowers, gems, charms and lots more too, oh and I will draw THREE WINNERS - how's that?

MANLY!
Hi Everyone
How are you all? I hope you have all had a good week.
This is my first week back after the Christmas break - sheesh, doesn't feel like we've had a holiday
It's Saturday already which means it's challenge time over at Totally Gorjuss and our theme for this week is "Manly".
Our generous sponsor for the challenge is Crafter's Companion, so if you want to be in with a chance to win a voucher to spend in their on line store then make sure you get your entries in over at Totally Gorjuss.
Here is the card I have made:
And here's another shot of the front so you can see the sentiment stamp a bit better:
ANOTHER CAS card I hear you all cry! Well, as some of you may remember, I had an operation on my hand a few weeks ago and I've found that making CAS cards and not spending lots of time colouring is actually helping my hand heal quicker so you will just have to bear with me for a few more weeks until my hand is hopefully back to normal
The recipe for the card is as follows:
Diamond-Shape Die: Clearly Besotted - Geometric Style
Sentiment Stamp: Clearly Besotted - It's Your Birthday
The papers are just some tiny scraps that I had left over which were just perfect for the job and that is it as they say.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a great weekend.

Anything Goes
Well Hello Everyone
I hope Mr Blogger is behaving and you are seeing this as I will be in hospital having an operation on my hand when this goes live - gulp!
Some of you may remember me saying some time ago that I thought I had avoided an operation as a steroid injection seemed to have done the trick but alas no :o( On the positive side though the surgeon tells me that there is a 100% success rate so if that means no more pain then that's brilliant it will all be worth it.
It's challenge time over at Papertake Weekly and this week we want to make it nice and easy for you as I expect you'll all be busy trying to get everything done ready for the festive season. So this week's challenge is "Anything Goes" but we are giving you the extra option of doing a "Clean and Simple or CAS" as it's known.
Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Lili of the Valley so get your entries in to be in with a chance to win.
I decided to go for the CAS card:
I made this card using a lovely owl stamp called "Stocking Owls" from Little Claire's which I coloured with Copics. I outline the image with Tumbled Glass Distress ink and edged all the papers with my favourite Distress Ink - Frayed Burlap.
And that's it.
I hope you all have a good week.
Ta ta for now.
