Totally Gorjuss - Challenge 155 - Things With Wings

Hi Everyone

Phew I'm so pleased to be back with you all after my two weeks away working at the NEC.  One of the first things I need to get done is to come and see you all and see what you have been making whilst I have been away.

I will take this opportunity to say "HELLO" and "THANK YOU" to my new followers - I am totally thrilled and flattered that you have chosen to come and see my little blog.

So it's Saturday and that means only one thing ..... it's challenge time over at Totally Gorjuss and this week's challenge is "Things With Wings".

Our generous sponsor this week is Crafty Poodles so to be in with a chance to win a voucher to spend in their store make sure you get your entry in over at the Totally Gorjuss site and don't forget to check out and see what the wonderful DT ladies have created to inspire you.

Here is the card I have made:

I decided to go with a "Keep it Simple" theme but I think I might have ruined it by putting too much dark distress ink around the image.  However, I am reliably informed by my Mum that it's looks just fine.

The recipe for the card is:

Digi Image:  Tiddly Inks - Christmas Pixie

The image has been coloured with Copics as follows:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (Cheeks)
Hair:  YR24 Y26 YR21 E51
Hat & Dress:  R39 R29 R27 R24
Holly & Wings:  G29 YG67 YG63 G24

I have outlined the image (a bit too much!!!) with Iced Spruce Distress Ink
The card has been lightly shaded and edged in Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
I have put a generous amount of Glamour Dust on her wings

And there you have it.

I look forward to catching up with you all this weekend.

Take care
